As a personal stylist and fashion blogger over 40, I get more questions about my favorite jeans than any other item. For most women, jeans are the hardest thing to shop for and the first thing we grab to make an easy outfit. After more than 20 years of personally shopping for women of all shapes and sizes, I’ve found there are a few jean brands I recommend the most. My current favorite is Fidelity. The styles I’ve shared in my capsule wardrobes and “Haute Mama Look of the Day” on Instagram have gone viral. In my opinion, their premium denim fabric is the best I’ve ever tried on. CHER STRAIGHT LEG
Straight-leg jeans are the most versatile jean style to own. 5’8″ friend Natalia and I (5’4″) are wearing Fidelity’s “Cher Crop” in noir. This style looks great on someone my size (25) and hers (31). CALI
This is the ideal wide-leg jean to wear with casual outfits. It’s a little wider at the opening than a traditional straight-leg jean, but not so wide it looks weird with sneakers or flat boots. These jeans have a long 32.5″ inseam that is long enough to keep you warm and cover your socks with sneakers. I’m 5’4″ and wearing a size 25 that I hemmed (cut) myself to the perfect length.

KATIE WIDE LEG JEANS
Katie is Fidelity’s best-selling style. Katie has a 10.5″ rise she works on lots of different body types. Most wide-leg jeans come with a high rise, usually above 11″, which doesn’t work well for everyone. When you’re busty, a higher rise can make it look like your boobs rest on your belt. If you’re petite, a rise that’s too long can cause your zipper to buckle or make it look like you have droopy drawers.
You can’t see through the white and the black doesn’t fade when you wash it. I have all 4 colors!
