Former Professional Nordstrom Stylist Picks From What’s New at Nordstrom.

I just spent 5 days shopping in two of the biggest Nordstrom stores in the nation. They were brimming with inspiration. As a former professional Nordstrom stylist turned fashion blogger, it was fun to shop at one of my favorite stores with a different lens. Here is a roundup of what I found from designers like YSL to new brands you may have never heard of.

New Jeans

Full leg jeans are defineately going to be the most popular denim style this spring. I shared some styling ideas for high waisted ankle length jeans in THIS POST. A long full leg flair jean is another great ageless style essential to have in your denim wardrobe. The Mother style I’m wearing with a 3.5″ heel have a 31″ inseam, and run true to size. I’m 5’4″.

New Nordstrom Jean Brand | Pistola

Take a look at Pistola some of these trending denim styles from Pistola. They are designed here in California and definealty have that cool California coast vibe. They are considered a premium denim but thier price points are well below the average in that category. The style I have on runs big so you can size down.

Your search for the perfect long soft jean shorts is over. I’m 5’4″ and these came home with me.

Designer Shoes | The Look for Less

Valentino

Any of these styles would be considered a good investment for your designer shoe wardrobe. The cinnamon colored flat sandls with studs are new and would be the perfect neutral sandal. I shared the the metallic wedges as a good shoe choice for wide leg jeans in THIS POST.

Designer Deal

This time of year you can get jelly Valentino sandals you can wear to the pool or to a party for less than half the price of their leather counter parts. How fun are these new multicolor slides?

I’ve been on the hunt for a cool platform sandal. They are so comfortable I suggested a pair in my International Travel Essentials Packing List post. Check out some of these designer brands I spotted in San Diego along side the look for less.
