This might be why you have nothing to wear. You can’t easily identify the most popular thing in your closet. Jeans have become the backbone of our favorite outfits from work to the weekends. Your denim wardrobe will work best for you when it’s organized so you can easily make outfits. Get to know which leg shapes and washes are worthy of your wardrobe.
The best denim wardrobe has a variety of styles and colors that fit well. I shared two styles everyone needs this winter HERE.
Having a variety of leg shapes helps you create different silhouettes so all your outfits don’t look the same. It also gives options with all your favorite boots.
Owning different washes gives you the power to play with different color stories, including universally flattering monochromatic.
WORTHY OF YOUR WARDROBE
The biggest mistake women make is holding on to too much. If it is more than a size off from what you are currently wearing let it go. Edit out styles and brands that are dated. Dead giveaways are tiny little zippers and overly designed butt pockets. Focus on a few good-fitting pairs. WHAT YOU CAN SEE IS WHAT YOU GET
If you hang your jeans, I recommend hanging them on the top row of your closet. Most of you hang them on the bottom, but you cant see them there. If you hang them on top with the pocket facing out, you’ll be able to find the style you’re looking for fast. Separate your sections by leg shape since this determines what you can wear them with.
WHEN TO FOLD
If you fold your jeans, fold them all the same way, with the pocket up. Then put them in stacks by leg shape. Here is a folding how-to video or you can just remember ankles, knees, hips, and butt up. Kinda like head shoulders knees and toes. Not quite as easy to sing, but easy to do. WATCH.
