WESTERN BOOTS AND FLARE-LEG JEANS
Western boots have always been popular, but are the front runners for fall’s must-have boots. It’s no surprise they look the best with all of your boot-cut jeans. Boot cut or wide-leg jeans that have an opening of 16″ or more that don’t get caught up on suede or bulkier profile western boots.

STRAIGHT-LEG JEANS AND SHORT BOOTS
This is where most women get caught up, literally! The trick is knowing the numbers. First, you should know your full-length inseam (the distance from your center crotch seam to the ground). Then shop in Jen’s Jean Shop or check online to find out the jean’s width at the “opening”. Most straight-leg jeans fall straight from the knee to the bottom of your hem and usually have a leg opening width between 12”-14″. Anything less will be too tight to tuck a jean under.

Make sure you choose an inseam that goes over the top of your boots by a few inches so it doesn’t get caught on the top of your boot when you walk.

Fitted-to-the-foot boot styles are the most flattering. Sometimes shorter styles, like these, that are leather instead of suede are easier to style since they don’t tend to stick to your jeans as easily.
