My European Travel Outfits Lookbook | High- Low Haute Mama in Paris

We are traveling through France for almost two weeks, but with the versatile pieces I’m packing, I won’t be able to wear all of the travel outfits I’m packing. I have so many great options. That’s the biggest benefit of packing a travel capsule wardrobe. So, although I don’t know if the weather forecast will be accurate or if our plans for the day may change, I know I’ll be wearing a travel outfit that I feel great in.A high-low mix of brands is a signature of my style and in almost every outfit combination I wear. For this trip, the fashion lover in me is channeling my inner Emily in Paris while still trying to appeal to and blend with my husband’s sensible style. These are a few of the over 100 travel outfits I can choose from. Follow me on Instagram and on LTK to see which ones become my haute mama look du jour.

Haute Mama Travel Day Outfit
When I travel long distances, I’m committed to luxe loungewear. My favorite are the cashmere sets on my European Travel Capsule Wardrobe Checklist. They feel like pajamas but look like a million dollars. These super soft sweats are made from 100% Grade A Mongolian cashmere, and you can get a set for less than the price of a name-brand cotton set. All of the pieces are sold separately and there are so many styles and colors to pick from. The pants come in a traditional sweatpant style with cuffed ankles and a straight leg style. I’m traveling with this boat neck and classic crew. They look great as part of a travel set but also work well with other outfits.
To and From Travel Outfit
Travel Tip – Wear your bulkiest layer. I’m taking a wool trench and this one looks so stylish over my sweats.

We are so scheduled when we are at home that we like to keep our itinerary open when we travel. When I pack lots of different layers, I always feel like I have something stylish to wear. Even though my bottoms are all “basic,” they have a fashion-forward feel. My jeans are dark denim with a cuff, my utility pants are barrel-leg, and my leggings have stirrups.
Day Dress and Skirt Travel Outfits
The City of Lights Looks for Night
Although I would wear them during the day, most of the travel outfit options I have for dressier evenings include a silky camisole top and a matching skirt from my European Travel Capsule Wardrobe Checklist. In a pinch this skirt can even be styled as a strapless dress.
