Burberry has been famous for its trench coats and classic nova check plaid for generations. A women’s trench coat is the hero in my carry-on capsule wardrobe. Its versatility and effortless appeal make it the perfect layering jacket for any capsule wardrobe checklist.

Compared to traditional US sizing Burberry runs small. If you are ordering by the US sizing chart I recommend buying one size up. They are so comfortable. The first time I wore them all day, I didn’t get one blister. I’ve worn them casually with jeans and dressed up for a red carpet.

A Burberry bag is an especially great bag to buy if you wear a lot of neutral colors. It adds interest to any outfits and plays well with other neutral prints, like stripes.
