The Stylist Mix | The Nordstrom 6 November Drop
This stylist mix of 6 festive fashion must-haves proves less is more when it comes to your winter wardrobe. Each of these playful pieces we picked for you is practical too. This silky button-up made my most-loved list last year and appeared on two of my most popular capsule wardrobe checklists. These Paige jeans from our July and August drops went viral, so I know you’ll love the velvet and corduroy option. You’ll have this versatile winter white jacket with crystal buttons forever. I can’t believe this flattering bias cut satin slip skirt is under $100. Channel your inner Emily in Paris with a fabulous new pair of sparkly shoes and a new bag. This one is so coo!
The Nordstrom 6 November Drop
1 | Cinq a Sept Soft Boucle Jacket
This jacket is new but 30% off for a limited time. It comes with glistening rhinestone buttons and an exaggerated slit sleeves. This short collarless style will work perfect with all of styles I suggested in my Fall Wardrobe Workshop. Wear it with wide leg jeans and a turtleneck or tall boots and a slipdress.
New Novelty Jackets From Cinq A Sept
Make all your basics, from velvet pants to a skirt or jeans, feel festive and fashionable.
2 | Paige Anessa Wide Leg
Paige’s Anessa jean is the jean that went viral when the Nordstrom 6 chose it for our August drop. This month we picked this popular style in burgundy and black velvet for the holidays. I’m convinced corduroy is making a comeback. This camel color is so pretty. I used them along with pieces from my Fall Wardrobe Workshop and some inspiration from the Chloe runway to make some new outfits for fall.
3 | Slip Skirt
This flattering slip skirt is cut on the bias and comes in black, burgundy, and a pretty pumice color. I consider a slip skirt or dress a wardrobe staple. When you combine a slip skirt like this with a matching camisole the outfit possibilities are endless. I’m including a set like this in my next travel capsule wardrobe. The skirt in the November drop doesn’t come with a matching camisole but these 3 sets, sold as separates do.
Slip Skirts and Matching Camisole Tops
This midi-length skirt is nice and thick. I love the modest camisole top for work and making more casual outfits.
This long slip skirt and camisole top come in black or ivory. The shorter camisole top looks good untucked.
I chose this set from Quince, which comes in 17 different colors! The “lava smoke” camisole top and skirt look so pretty with the burgundy pants in our drop, and they draw out the silver tones in the buttons on the boucle jacket.
4 | Halogen Silky Button-Up
This beautiful button-up under $100 should look familiar. It was part of my Street Style Capsule wardrobe and my Festive Fits Capsule last year. Choose from 9 different colors. All of them come with crystal buttons.
5 | Strappy Heels
This is that one-and-done strappy heel that will go with all of your holiday outfits. With less than a 3″ heel, you’ll be able to dance the night away. These heels have a roomy toe box. To help them hold on they also have a strap over the top of your foot instead of your ankle.
6 | Sequin Pouch
This pouch is so fun! It looks like something you’d see on Emily in Paris. It comes in gold, silver, and black sequins. Silver is so popular that I added this pouch and the strappy heels from this drop to my 2024 edit of my Festive Fits Capsule.
