2021 MUST HAVE FOR EVERYONE
ANKLE LENGTH STRAIGHT LEG
These designer jeans fit 9/10 women and are the most versatile jeans you can own this year. They are a mid rise on most and open at the ankle so you can wear them with your favorite mules or boots tucked up and under. I’m 5’4″ and wear a 26.
WHICH JEANS WITH WHICH SHOES
This is where women get hung up the most and end up with a closet “full” new fall things, but nothing to wear.
The secret is a straight leg jean, or a jean jean that falls away from the leg from the the knee down. Straight leg jeans usually have a 13-14″ opening. If you can find one with an inseam that hit right around your ankle you can wear them with any shoe.

Short boots are big this fall. The most versatile style is one that hugs your foot, especially important if it come up over your ankle. Then, it won’t compete with your straight leg jeans, but tuck up and under them. A sleeker style like these also works better with dresses and skirts.

TALL
Nothing chops up a look than too much space between the bottom of you pant and the top of your boots. If you have long legs and want an ankle length boot that still hits closer to your ankle look for an inseam closer to 28-29″.
Don’t be afraid of a crop jean. Choose a longer length like these and an opening in proportion to your leg. The average on a crop flare is about 16″ so choose accordingly.
PETITE
Petite doesn’t always mean under 5’4″ or you have to shop in the “petite” department for your jeans. You can own premium denim too. You just need to know your numbers.
You may be short in the rise or zipper area, but longer in the legs. If you’re petite in the rise consider a 9-10 ” rise instead of the more common 11″+. Maybe you have a long torso and short legs. There’s a jean for you too. Pay close attention to the inseam. A “crop” length of 26″ in most jeans with be closer to ankle length on you.
