As a seasoned sale-shopper, discovering new brands on sale and worth buying is one of my favorite things to do. The Nordstrom anniversary sale’s denim selection this year didn’t disappoint. Most of our favorite jean brands and styles are on sale. When I visited the biggest Nordstrom in San Deigo, CA I found some super cool new jeans on the NSale for you for all my friends who are denim obsessed too.
Etica Jeans
Most of our favorite outfits start with a great pair of jeans. Straight-leg jeans, like the “Cindy”, are the most versatile style, but you should own a variety of denim washes and shapes that work best on your body. Etica jeans are worth adding to your arsenal. These cool new jeans are made in CA but have a broken-in vintage vibe.
Make sure you SIZE DOWN. I’m wearing a 24 in all of the styles I’m sharing and I usually wear a 25 or 26.
CA Cool Jean Brand
I’ve always been a sucker for a cool pair of purpose-ripped jeans. Depending on how you style them you can wear them at any age.
Transitional Jean Brand
These soft darker wash blue jeans work really well to transition your looks into fall when the weather is still warm. At 5’4″ these sit just below my belly button and stop right at the ankle so I can wear them with slip-ons now or boots later.
Jean Brand With a Vintage Vibe
On nordstrom.com these jeans are listed as a “high-waist straight leg” style however, I’m 5’4″ and they hit just below my belly button. They are very comfortable and feel like those Levis that you’ve had forever. The relaxed straight leg style makes it a good choice for most body shapes.
