HOW TO CREATE A CAPSULE WARDROBE FOR ANY SEASON
When you’re shopping off-season items on sale try this tip to create a capsule wardrobe for any season. Small sets that include a versatile layering piece and matching accessories make a great foundation. Mix, match, and layer to come up with new outfit ideas. Through Aug 6th you can get 30-60% off a great selection of fall and winter pieces from Nordstrom. Here’s a current roundup of some hot sets, on sale, and in stock.
HOT SETS
I just added this set for myself. Size down in the VINCE cardigan. The boots are true to size and very comfortable. I just shared 2 more sets on sale you can make with this quality cardigan that comes in 3 colors HERE.
In THIS BLOG POST; The One Outfit Everyone Needs for Fall, I showed how a creamy cardigan and neutral boots from the Anniversary Sale could make multiple outfits.
Check This Out
This classic Ralph Lauren camel coat with cognac collar matches this Burberry bag and belt perfectly. All of these pieces you could keep forever. The iconic Burberry Nova check bag can be worn cross-body, over the shoulder, or as a clutch!
Steal this styling strategy and wear any set with a denim shirt and jeans from my Simple Summer Capsule Wardrobe.
Must-Have Metallics
Depending on what you wear them with metallics sets will work in any season. I scored two sets on the sale including the gold designer-inspired one in the video. I’d wear it right now over a little black dress or this holiday season with leather pants and an oversized button-up.
High Low Styling
I’m so obsessed and impressed with these kitten-heel boots. They are so comfortable and make a great alternative to strappy sandals that sometimes slip off when you want to dance the night away. I plan to pair mine with my favorite Veronica Beard Miller blazer with silver buttons! I can see wearing them with jeans and a tee shirt for a date night or over a fun cocktail dress for a wedding.
Winter White
You could use this set with the monochromatic work wardrobe I created using pieces from the sale, or to add some style to your all-black weekend uniform.
How fun would this blazer be over all-black for a non-traditional tuxedo look?
