The most flattering slip dresses are cut on the bias and kiss not cling. Sometimes less expensive brands are not. Try this style hack I used to give my Target dress some shape.
- Start with the bangle outside your dress or top, right under the middle of your bust, or on the hip.
- While holding the bangle with one hand use the other hand to reach inside with the rubber band and wrap it around the bangle.

One of my favorite slip skirts is this one from Amazon for under $50. It’s so easy to dress up or down with some of my favorite name-brand pieces. Plus it’s washable so I’m not afraid to wear it.
CAMISOLE TOP
Stop looking for the perfect lightweight layering piece. A silky camisole top that kisses but doesn’t cling to your body is fashionable and flattering on everyone. A spaghetti strap camisole with adjustable straps looks the best. Make the best of this base layer on a cool cardigan or blazer. This style from Vince is the gold standard. It’s made of the same washable crinkle satin that my best-selling slip dress is and can be purchased with a matching monochromatic slip skirt!
