Destination Shopping Trend | The Best Place To Shop Luxury Outlets in CA
I was born to shop and I’ve enjoyed the post pandemic challenge of reinventing every woman’s favorite pastime with closetchoreography.com. With less and less in most stores finding a great place to shop where you can touch and try things on, is a wardrobe game changer. Desert Hills Premium Outlet is my favorite shopping destination. Home to the largest collection of luxury outlets in California this is where I visit when I want a tactile, sensible, and style-centric shopping experience. Shopping doesn’t just fill holes in my closet. Shopping is my favorite thing to do and it inspires my style. Steal my destination shopping strategy. I promise Palm Springs doesn’t disappoint.
Calling All Luxury Outlet Lovers
My wardrobe and the capsule wardrobes I create and share on closetchoreography.com always include a high-low mix of brands. Desert Hills Premium Outlet is my one-stop shop for the best prices and selection of luxury brands on my bucket list and classic closet essentials I refresh regularly.
I just refreshed my striped top selection with some new blue and white pieces from Gap Factory that work perfectly in my new Feeling Blue Capsule Wardrobe. None of these options are over $40. I love my short-sleeved ballet-back T-shirt. It’s so fun for summer.
My recent outlet haul also included some classic pieces from Coach Outlet that are making a comeback. These jacquard slides are so comfortable and much more interesting than a solid brown. I got the matching belt for under $50.
The mix of mainstream contemporary brand outlet stores at the Desert Hills Premium Outlet are beautifully laid out like a boutique, and easy to shop. You don’t have to dig and you get the best deals! I’m a style stalker and often find popular styles from brands like Vince, Rag & Bone, and All Saints on sale.
My favorite stores to shop when I’m here are the ones that have all of my favorite luxury brands. I’ve been lucky enough to find pieces from my designer brand bucket list like a studded Valentino handbag, Dolce & Gabbana iconic leopard print palazzo pants, and a beautiful Bottega triangle belt.
If you’re looking for outfit inspiration for the next season, or your next big event, Desert Hills Premium Outlet has it! This spring I scored a pair of Jimmy Choo heels with giant asymmetrical bows that I plan to wear on the red carpet this fall and style with textured tights for the holidays. This is the place to treasure hunt and it doesn’t disappoint.

Stay In Style
Palm Springs is brimming with boutique hotels. When I’m not staying at condos in the desert with my family, I’m trying boutique hotels in downtown Palm Springs. So far my favorite is the Holiday House. I just stayed here with my sister and highly recommend it. This stylish 28 room hotel is just a ten minute Uber ride from the Palm Springs International Airport. It was the perfect backdrop for my Feeling Blue Capsule Wardrobe photo shoot and luxury brands social media campains.
Every detail from the wallpaper to the cocktail straws are intentionally coordinated to delight your senses. The staff was friendly and the food was amazing! This hotel tops a short list of places I plan to return this fall when I host a destination shopping event with Desert Hills Premium Outlet. Make sure you are subscribed so you don’t miss the date and details when they are announced.
