ACCESSORIZE | THIS MAKES THE BIGGEST DIFFERENCE IN YOUR WARDROBE

If you learn how to accessorize it will make the biggest difference in your wardrobe. If your style is chic, a minimalist quality two-tone jewelry set might be all you need. If your style is bold your accessories should speak for themselves. This post is packed with my famous high-low mix of brands and the links to shop for them in each of the major accessory areas this season. Hallelujah for hats. I mean who doesn’t love a fashionable accessory that also protects you from the sun? I love designer sunglasses, but they are the reason why I can’t have nice things. This post has this year’s most popular style at every price. Scarves often get a bad “wrap”, but they are my favorite spring and summer accessory. I’ll show you eight easy ways to tie them and where to get the best styles. Finally from luxe labels to my Amazon fashion finds, I think you’ll agree that there is something about a woven bag that just speaks to this season.

ACCESSORIZE WITH HATS

Hallelujah for hats. I mean who doesn’t love a fashionable accessory that also protects you from the sun? No matter where I’m going, I always travel with a hat. Each season I refresh my raffia hats

Nordstrom

Classic Fedora from Nordstrom for Under $50

Target

I just got these 3 hats from Target and made a little designer-inspired accessory set with the bucket hat.

Classic Caps

My Chic Casual Capsule Wardrobe includes a baseball hat, but you don’t have to be a baseball fan to wear one. I picked mine because it matches my sneakers.

ACCESSORIZE WITH SUNGLASSES

I LOVE them, but designer sunglasses are the reason why I can’t have nice things. I’m notorious for losing, dropping, and breaking mine. If you can hold onto a pair, there are so many beautiful styles to choose from. This season rectangular-shaped sunnies are trending.

SCARVES

Scarves often get a bad “wrap”, but they are my favorite spring and summer accessory. Watch this video to see 8 easy ways to tie one into your next look. I included a large square style like the one in this video in my European Travel Capsule and my Fashionable Black and White Vacation Capsule Wardrobe.

Rag & Bone

These large sheer Rag & Bone scarves with delicate fringe trim are perfect for summer. I’m wearing this color combination in the video. I love that is has black, blue, and just a touch of pink in it.

Year-Round Designer Shawls

Classic logos and iconic prints from Gucci, Versace, Alexander McQueen, and Dolce and Gabbana.

Solid Style Under $50

This 51″x56.5″ scarf from Nordstrom comes in 6 colors and they are all under $50.

ACCESSORIZE WITH BAGS

There is something about a woven bag that just speaks to the season. I love a style like this one from All Saints that has comfortable and durable straps which makes it versatile enough to carry from the city to the sea. Raffia or straw totes are lightweight too.

Luxe Labels You’ll Love

NAGHEDI

These water-resistant totes have been a popular travel staple for years. The Nordstrom 6 included a Naghedi tote in our January Drop. See some stylish sets I put together with a raincoat and matching boots, HERE. Naghedi makes lots of different colors. I think those that are ombre or have a pattern, look the most expensive. I have the large black St. Barts tote with camel and metallic accents.

Medium St. Barts

The Look For Less

Amazon does an amazing job making the look for less. I included some of their fun bright colors in my Resort Casual Capsule Wardrobe.
