A STYLISH STAYCATION | SACRAMENTO, CA HAS STYLE

I’m a Sacramento, CA native and I’ve spent more than two decades helping women everywhere find their style. I got my credentials in LA, but I swear there’s no place like home. Since the pandemic I’ve been reinventing every woman’s favorite pastime, shopping. My career as a personal shopper started at Nordstrom in Sacramento, but when it closed I launched closetchoreography.com to help women find their style and closet essentials that make creative capsule wardrobes with a mix of brands from everywhere. As an independent stylist, blogger, and digital creator, I like to travel to find inspiration. Oftentimes a stylish staycation is all I need. Here are some of my favorite places to stay and recharge in Sacramento Hotels, CA.

KIMPTON | THE SAWYER HOTEL

The Sawyer is my favorite place to stay and was the location for my first closetchoreography.com photo shoot. I return to this spot, in the heart of Sacramento, when I want to feel inspired by my city.

Revival at the Sawyer

This chic space overlooks the 3rd-floor pool deck and offers one-of-a-kind cocktails, California wines, and microbrews. You can grab light bites or dinner here too. I love it here!

Clean & Modern

The Sawyer is consistent in delivering clean, modern, and spacious accommodations.

OLD TOWN SACRAMENTO

Tower Bridge on the Sacramento River

Although you won’t want to leave the Sawyer if you’re staying there, you will be within walking distance to wonderful restaurants, the Golden 1 Center, charming old-town Sacramento shops, and the waterfront.

Waterfront Wonderland

Spend the day or night shopping and dining on the cobblestone streets. Get in touch with your inner child at the waterfront park, complete with a 65′ Ferris wheel and carousel.

FORT SUTTER HOTEL

This 105-room hotel is a stylish slice of Midtown Sacramento. Fort Sutter Hotel celebrates new and established local artists year-round in their lobby gallery.

Wine & Dine

Four Palms Bar at Fort Sutter Hotel

Paragary Restaurant Group is the curator of many famous Sacramento eateries including Cafe Bernardo, the signature restaurant at Fort Sutter Hotel.

THE CITIZEN HOTEL

The charming Citizen Hotel resides in a historic building that was built in 1925. Get a storybook view of California’s Capitol Building from one of its rooms. Enjoy an unforgettable meal at Grange restaurant and bar featured in the 2021-2023 MICHELIN Guide.

I hope that you find some inspiration here. Thank you for shopping with me. I’m inspired by my hometown and its street style. I love this community and the community of women I help everywhere who are finding their own way and their own style with me.
