CLOSET ESSENTIALS FOR DIFFERENT BODY TYPES

Ribbed Tank Tops
The secret in finding a tank top that works with or without curves is landing on a style that’s ribbed, has a slightly halter neckline, and fabric like these. This style under $30 is more fitted and comes in petite and tall sizes. I’ve recently been spotlighting this small brand’s tops. Their dream rib knits are buttery soft and don’t cling.
Best Selling Short Sleeve
These two name-brand classic white tees have been my go-to for years. A v-neck top is universally flattering. This generous-cut style has been mercerized to give it a little sheen that makes it easy to dress up. Try one with your favorite pendant necklace or suit. This ATM crew neck style tee is a Nordstrom 6 favorite and has made it into multiple capsule wardrobes. The fit is great. Showing a bit of body through the crewneck shirt prevents it from looking boxy on a bigger upper half. Also, it tacks slightly on the sides, has slits, and has a flattering sleeve length for bigger boobs.
DOUBLE-DUTY TOPS FOR DIFFERENT BODY TYPES
I never stop shopping and I’m always excited when I find new closet essentials that are universally flattering and do double duty like this black knit tank. A tank like this is also one of my New Wardrobe Checklist items.

This “anywhere” top from Six Fifty literally goes anywhere and looks good on everyone! See how I styled it 6 ways HERE on INSTAGRAM. I’m super impressed with the quality considering it’s under $75.
Luxerie
A shallow coop or square neck top is universally flattering too. This super stretchy ultra-thin style from Luxerie can be worn as a traditional scoop and ballet neckline when worn in reverse. Layer one under a blazer or back to a full skirt, like this one.
FLATTERING AND FASHIONABLE DAY OR NIGHT
A silky top always feels good and is flattering on lots of different body types. This feminine puff sleeve style from FRAME is a winner. The sleeves are so flattering. Wear it solo or layered day or night.
Can you wear a camisole top out?
Yes! Camisole tops are feminine and flattering. They make great layering pieces too. This raw edge Nordstrom exclusive style is a subscriber favorite and an N6 February Drop pick. Its double v-neck and trim detail, even along the bottom edge, make it easy to style and wear with a regular bra.
Light weight long sleeve blouses with an open neckline are slimming on someone top heavy and elongating on someone petite. A neutral print like this makes an easy outfit for day or night with your favorite jeans. All of the jeans in this post are from Fidelity.
