A white button up is the epitome of effortless style. Layered or solo, its versatility makes it essential to any wardrobe. With so many ways to wear this wardrobe staple, you may want more than one. Before you buy another button up check out my online shopping tips here and here and don’t forget to refresh the rest of your whites too.

BEFORE YOU BUY

The best button up is made from a fabric combination that is both crisp yet flexible. My current favorite is 60% cotton and 40% polyester, making it washable and easy to iron. I’m 5’4″ and this 29.5″ length hits me just below my butt untucked.

RECREATE THE LOOK

These all have that great fabrication and similar fit. The first button up from Theory is made with sustainable premium pima cotton and has a simple covered button placket.
