Not just a little edit but a took everything out, dusted the shelves, and got rid of everything you don’t need? Doesn’t it feel amazing!!? Baptism is one of my favorite celebrations. Whenever I see it I’m overwhelmed with emotion, joyful, and my faith is renewed. I know god wants to be in relationship with us and when we say yes to him he does a deep detox of our mind, body, and soul that feels amazing. It changes the way we live, how we see ourselves, and others. I was baptized when I was 12, but my ultimate makeover didn’t end with a detox. Seasons change and life happens. I’m a professional stylist and sometimes I stand in my closet and it feels a little cluttered, my favorite jeans don’t fit, and I can’t find anything to wear. Sometimes the easiest way to get dressed is to put on what’s comfortable or old go-to “uniform”. But when I see others getting a makeover it’s such a sweet reminder that I had the same pro do my detox and He’s still showing me and teaching me what looks good on me.
