New Western Spring Fashion Finds from Nordstrom

We never shop more than when we are changing seasons or traveling. I’m doing both in a few months. I just found the inspiration for my spring wardrobe and trip to Paris at Nordstrom. I’m calling it New Western—fashion with a vintage vibe and a Western nod. My high-low mix includes patch-pocket pants, suede accessories, a romantic lace skirt, a classic navy blue blazer, and a button-up

1 | Patch Pocket Jeans
Vintage-inspired patch pocket flare leg jeans are my modern take on classic bootcut jeans with traditional western butt pockets. Front patch pockets are popping up on lots of jeans at Nordstrom. If placed properly, they can draw attention to a tiny waist and be super slimming.
2 | Lace Skirt
Spring lends itself to skirt weather. I love the texture of a lace skirt. I’m so excited to try this sheer style for our trip to Paris. I plan to wear it street style with an oversized button-up during the day and a blazer at night.
3 | Suede Accessories
There might not be any accessories as versatile for spring as suede shoes and a suede bag. Like the rest of the women in the world, I’m currently crushing on anything in mocha mousse, Pantone’s color of the year. This Veronica Beard bag is perfection and goes with everything.
4 | Navy Blue Blazer
A navy blue blazer seems iconic in Spring. I love the sharp tailoring on this Veronica Beard Miller blazer. It adds such a feminine shape to oversized pieces like a prairie dress or wide-leg jeans. This one is easy to dress down with this zip-in denim dickey that I know will be perfect for our trip to Paris.
5 | Boho Blouses & Button-Ups
I almost always travel with an oversized button-up. They are just so versatile. This look lends itself to a chambray style or something with a tie-neck.
