Is Your Style a Little Bit Country and a little bit rock ‘N Roll?
This is how I use a high-low mix of brands to recreate outfits for real women like you, inspired by Isabel Marant and her celebrity clients. Since 1994 Isabel Marant has been a bucket list designer brand that epitomizes every woman’s cool girl fantasy. Flirty graphic sweatshirts and tees, wrap belts, western boots, ditsy print dresses, and smocked skirts combine to make outfits that are a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll. I love this style, especially for fall. The key is knowing when to splurge and when to save so you can mix the pieces to create a laid-back blend of bohemian and Parisian street style.

Bags
When you buy this belt bag you’re already getting two accessories for the price of one. This is also one of the few designer bags you can still buy for under $1000. Choose from 10 colors HERE. I love the leather options and studded detail.

Logo Graphics
Don’t buy dupes, especially if they have a logo. If you can find designer-inspired pieces that have the same vibe that’s great. Copies aren’t cool and usually look inexpensive.
I’ve always been a big fan of graphic tees and sweatshirts. This summer I got my first Isabel Marant sweatshirt and I love it. I plan to style it with a ditsy print skirt this fall but have been wearing it will all of my athleisure outfits and inexpensive casual brands.

Belt
As far as designer brand belts go Isabel Marant’s buckleless belts give you you the most bang fr your buck. This signature style can be worn through belt loops or styled at your natural waist over a dress, blazer, or sweater this fall.
I’ve got my eye on this reversible style and this thin style. Isabel Marant wrap belts without hardware cost about half as much as their designer brand counterparts. I’ve tried the look for less from Amazon but the vegan leather cracks and doesn’t mold to your body like leather does.
Jackets
A bomber jacket is on a short list of 12 updated closet essentials I’m recommending for fall. I love having a little variety pack of styles and colors from classic leather to shiny satin. This one is only $32!

Dresses
Isabel Marant’s dresses all embody that laid-back bohemian style that works street style or for a formal event. I found several less expensive brands the have similar design details like feminine ditsy print fabrics that twist or rushe in all the right places and laidback asymmetrical tee shirt style dresses.

Skirts
These smoked skirts are so sexy and look good with a matching blouse and boots or a sweatshirt and sneakers.

Turtle Neck Tops
A thin turtle neck is one of the signature styles Isabel Marant uses to layer with. An animal print like this one will be the easiest print to mix and match. The main difference here is the fabric and since it’s sheer anyways and covered with a print I’d go with the look for less.

Velcro Sneakers
The Isabel Marant “Beth” sneaker is beautiful but I suggest you save $350 and get the Dolce Vita “Notice” sneaker instead.

Short Boots
This kitten heel boot comes in 9 fall colors siese 5-12. It even has Madewell’s signature cloudlift padding for added comfort.

Western Boots
I’m sorta split on this last one because you’ll have a classic pair of western boots forever and they only get better with age, but if you’re not a big boot person and just want something to wear this season these Dolce Vita “Samson’s” are great.
