My everyday beauty routine is short and sweet, but I wanted some easy makeup tips I could tackle that would take it to the next level this holiday. After my last facial, I asked Jason pretty please, if he would “make me pretty please”. Here are a few of his expert tips and my new favorite products to help you get the look.

I keep a maracuja lip gloss in my car, desk, bathroom, and purse pocket. I wear them all day because they are vegan and free from parabens, mineral oil, phthalates, triclosan, sodium lauryl sulfate, and gluten.  

My favorite sheer colors are rose and white peach. Jason used the new tingly Marcuja juicy lip plump to prepare my pout before applying his favorite Nars velvet matte lip pencil in Cruella red.

Picking a holiday-ready red lip may seem difficult, but, look for a neutral red! My go-to that looks good on everyone is the NARS Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella.

Highlight & Contour

Jason shared some great beauty tips for achieving a glowing complexion even with aging skin. He said “Glitter and glow are two different things and don’t go ham on the highlighter. ” Be a glow getter and apply light reflecting makeup, like Tartes clay play palette, that blurs fine lines rather than highlighting them.

Jason also swears by this vegan face and body bronzer. He said its foolproof neutral (not orange) shade is “great for sculpting as well as bronzing and its waterproof formula can be used on your face or body.”

Celebrity Secrets

Perfect your look head to toe, literally. You may want to use Color Wow’s root touch-up in your hair. “It also works great to fill in a thin scalp or severe part.” Jason says you can avoid “flashback” or awkward highlights on your face, especially in photos, by using a good sheer setting powder. His favorite is from Makeup Forever. You can get it here. “Don’t forget to blend some bronzer into your hairline to keep your makeup looking natural and seamless.”
