Travel in style to your next getaway without over packing. If you pack these 6 pieces you’ll never have to stress over packing again.
1. SOFT SHOES
If your feet hurt it doesn’t matter how cute your outfit is.
Start with your shoes. Use the space you save packing smart to pack extra shoes in different styles like fashion sneakers and flat sandals. The variety of styles will support your feet in different positions. Even your favorite footwear will start to hurt if you wear them too much and don’t give your feet a break.
According to a pediatrist the most comfortable heel is about 1-2″ high. These styles would go with lots of different outfits.
2. SHOULDER BAG
For summer a nylon tote is great, light weight, and can go plane to poolside.
When you can, splurge on a shoulder bag so you can really travel in style. A designer bag can make even your simplest outfits look expensive. Everyone will be so focused on your designer bag they won’t notice the ones under your eyes.
3. SHIRT
Having pieces that you can wear multiple ways is key to not over packing. A slightly oversized white button up shirt is a go to for me. She works well with my dressiest outfits and or unbuttoned as a swim suit coverup.

4. SOLID DRESS
A little black dress and little white dress are the most popular, but your favorite hue works well too! Look for styles like these that you can belt or easily layer under or over to change up the look.

5. STRUCTURED LAYER
Layers are probably the most important pieces to travel with. My favorite layer is one that defines your shape like a blazer.

6. SOFT LAYER
A soft layer like a cardigan is not only comfortable but an nice medium weight layer. A cardigan like this can be worn over a tee shirt, satin camisole, or a dress. A cropped cardigan can also be worn buttoned up as a top or backwards as a pullover sweater.
Since travel wardrobes are usually pretty neutral, a colorful cardigan is great way to add some interest.
