Father Figure Men’s Capsule Wardrobe

During the 20 years I was a personal stylist for Nordstrom I dressed men and women. Guys are great. Most men hate to shop but love looking good. Keeping up with women’s fashion for my blog is a full-time job, but I know the time I spent sourcing these 6- piece men’s capsule wardrobe won’t be wasted. Most of the women who shop with me here also shop for the men in thier lives. You’re gonna want him to have this 6-pack as much as he does. There is no look book needed for this capsule because all of the versatile pieces mix and match to make a variety of outfits.

Trust me, dudes care just as much, if not more, about how their jeans feel as much as how they fit. A pair of premium brand straight leg jeans will work with everything. 2. Travis Mathew Performance Polo

This performance polo is popular with guys, especially golfers. This shirt was designed for golf but looks great with shorts, pants, and jeans. “Breathable and lightweight, this all-purpose polo shirt has impeccable good looks from tee-off to turn-in.” It fits a TTS for a golf shirt with extra room through the chest and shoulders.

4. Goodfellow Graphic Tee

For less than $15 you can’t beat the value these stylish tees add to his wardrobe. Size up if he likes a relaxed fit. My husband has several of these tees in medium and large. The medium fiit on him is a little more modern and fit him more like the model.

5. Vuori Hybrid Shorts

I first got these for my husband to replace his old swim trunks. We ordered 4 colors and he ended up keeping them all. They are so versatile. Now he wears them to play pickleball, golf, my son’s football games, to lunch, AND the pool!

6. Adidas Sneakers

These low-profile men’s fashion sneakers never go out of style. I love the way they dress up jeans. They have a roomy wide toe-box and I found all of these styles for under $100.
