6 Women’s Summer Styles I’m Suggesting Regardless of Your Age | N6 April Drop

Let’s face it, as we get older, summer is the season we have the hardest time shopping for. When wardrobe staples get skimpier sometimes it helps to have a personal shopper’s help. I’ll give you 5. The N6 started putting together monthly drops with 6 pieces we have all tried and feel 9/10 women would benefit from having in their closet. With warm weather on the horizon, this month we chose to focus on women’s summer styles we love and trust year after year. We even found you a swimsuit!

APRIL DROP | 6 SUMER STYLES

1 | RAILS SUNDRESSES

These summer dresses are selling so quickly that you know it’s a sign. The N6 all agree that this brand is bringing their best dress selection yet this summer. I’ve narrowed them down to my personal picks, based on them being figure-flattering and easy to style.

Rails Solid Summer Dress Styles

These 3 white dresses check all the boxes to become part of my Resort Casual Capsule Wardrobe. I shared a try-on of this first style LIVE on Instagram. It’s so good! All 3 of these white dresses are flowy enough to wear over a swimsuit but dressy enough to wear out to dinner. Jump to Jen’s post dedicated to figure-flattering white dresses to shop for more styles you’ll love.

Stylist Tip – A two-tone print, like these and the ones I shared in my Emily in Paris Capsule Wardrobe, makes it easy to wear your dress with other prints and colors.

2 | LA BLANCA WOMEN’S ’23 SUMMER STYLES

You can stop looking! I finally found a flattering solid white swimsuit that isn’t see-through! Watch my try-on featured on Instagram Live. In general, a printed swimsuit is the most flattering, but a solid style that can do double duty as a bodysuit is a score. I included several solid black styles to pick from in my Resort Casual Capsule Wardrobe.

3 | LONGCHAMP SUMMER STYLES

My N6 friend Danielle just got back from Paris fashion week and said she saw Longchamp bags everywhere. This sweet little summer-style raffia style bag, which can be crossbody was the N6 favorite.

Packable Travel Totes

Longchamp’s signature nylon Pliage totes are great for travel. The black and brown color combination goes with almost everything. They come in multiple sizes and fold down flat. I recommend taking one with you when you travel abroad. Pack it flat when you fly there, then fill it with treasures to take home.

4 | SAM EDELMAN “BAY” SANDAL

This is not the first time a Sam Edelman shoe has made it into one of our monthly drops. We previously shared this sneaker, this flat, and recently this low heel sandal. This month our pick is the increasingly popular “Bay” sandal. The Bay’s Hermes-inspired design details and over 30 color combinations make it a popular choice for women size 4-13.

5 | CASLON LINEN PANTS

Check out this Nordstrom name-brand women’s summer style staple for under $75. The style details give them a much more fashion-forward look than your typical drawstring line pants. I love the track pant-inspired side seam and darling scallop hem.

These linen pants come in a petite 24.5″ inseam, and a 26″ regular cropped inseam, so no hemming is required. Available in 4 colors and plus sizes.

6 | WOMEN’S CLASSIC SUMMER-STYLE STRIPED BUTTON-UP

I might be the biggest fan of a button-up you’ll ever meet. The N6 recently picked the oversized “Kayla” button-up shirt as one of our January Drop pieces. This month meet “Maxine” an oversized striped women’s summer-style button-up with a playful pocket. This style is dressy enough for work, but can easily be styled with the “Bay” sandals and Caslon linen pants on the weekends.

Besides what you choose to wear with this classic consider all the different ways of styling it, like strapless or off the shoulder. Watch now! If you want to recreate my look with the little white dress follow these steps.

  1. Unbutton your shirt and put it on backward
  2. Lift the bottom of the shirt over your head.
  3. Button one button right under your bust.
  4. Fold the next 2 button loops on top of each other and then button through both.
  5. Pull the should seam on one side up over your shoulder
